Coach Myers and her Titans continue their winning ways yesterday when they completed the sweep of the Royals from Lake Region State College. The Titans (22-14) completed the sweep in 11 innings between the 2 games scoring 20 runs combined. In game 1, the Titans came out swing earning 10 runs off 14 hits with Freshman Alyssa Rano leading the charge with 3 runs, 2 hits with 3 at bats and 1 RBI. Sophomore Jade Frank led the game with 4 RBI's off 2 hits and a run. In game 2 the result was the same as the Titans blew the door down in the 3rd scoring 6 runs and ending the day with 10 runs through 11 hits. Alyssa Rano once again was the Titan of the day leading the game with 3 at bats, 2 runs off 2 hits and 2 RBI's. Through 36 games the Titans have scored an incredible 199 runs and post an outstanding home record of 17-4. The Titans are on the road this weekend for a conference tournament where they will compete against State College of Florida and Polk in Fort Myers but, will return home next Tuesday, March 22nd for a double header contest vs State College of Florida. First pitch for game 1 of the double header is set for 5pm followed by 7pm for game 2. Admission is free for all home games and the Titans play at Eddie C Moore in Clearwater, FL.
