Saturday afternoon will be a great day for softball when the Titans of St. Petersburg College face off against the Hawks of Lake Sumter State College. The Titans (8-10) are coming off a series split this past Tuesday night with the College of Central Florida. Coach Myers and her softball squad are currently preparing to head to Gainesville tomorrow to take on the Saints of Santa Fe College in doubleheader action. Through 18 games the Titans have attributed to 102 runs off 147 hits with 497 at bats. The Titans are 2-3 at home but look to even that record when they face a Hawks team (13-9) who are an impressive road team at 5-1. First pitch for this doubleheader matchup is set for noon for game 1 followed by 2pm for game 2. Admission is always free at the Eddie C Moore Softball Complex.
