The story of St. Petersburg College baseball this season has been night and day. Some games they look dominate whereas some games they look defeated. Monday night was definitely a dominate performance for the Titans (12-17) as they downed the Spartans of Tampa JV 9-1. St. Pete brought the bats and they attributed to 12 hits while giving up 2 errors on defense. Centerfielder Logan Sanders led the night with 3 of those 9 runs followed by infielder Torry Jones Jr. who had 2 and Titans Nick Garagozzo, Will Bruno, Jaider Morelos, and Austin Coultas each having 1. Pitcher Tanner Walker had a great night in which through 5 innings pitched gave up 8 hits, 1 run and 3 shutouts. The Titans next home game is tomorrow night when they welcome TNXL Tampa Trojans to Jack Russell Stadium. First pitch is set for 5pm and admission is always free.
