On a chilly night on Valentines Day, the Titans of St. Petersburg College almost had their heart broken. After leading 6-2 in the 3rd inning the Titans (5-6) allowed the Mocs to keep it close but ultimately won 6-5. The Mocs scored a run in the 7th, 8th and 9th to pull within even but Freshman pitcher Manuel Meilan kept the Mocs at bay to secure the victory. Freshman Tanner Walker through 4 innings pitched only gave up 5 hits, 2 runs, 1 error but, provided 8 shutouts. The Titans return to action tomorrow when they host the Patriots of College of Central Florida. First pitch is set for 3pm and the game is located at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater, FL.
